Long time no update....
So, the big thing going on is mostly kara. Had about a two week spell where people weren't showing up and trying to proceed with 2 healers and four tanks kinda thing. Then we get a good group setup, and one of our warriors goes afk for 45 minutes. We tried to kick him out of the group, but it didn't remove him from the instance. Talked to a gm who said that if they are saved to our instance, there is no reason that we should remove them. The nice thing was the next day, this retard didn't even apologize. We asked what happened and after 10 mins he was like oh, my power went out. I said that usually when that happens you get dced, but apparently he had a battery on his computer that kept him in game... yeah, whatever. So he hasn't been invited back.
Scott (Aquinon) switched his pimped out pally over to Cenarion Circle and started running kara with us. Before I started, they were stuck on Curator and now we are downing Prince, so I'm pretty happy. Have gotten some nice loot and been working on my alts.
Three tests this week, one test last week, presentation next week. Meanwhile, Jason is at home sitting on his ass. He quit his job almost two months ago and has yet to find a replacement. Called off the wedding until he learns responsibility.

Heroic Durnholde.... not good. We wiped 4 times in the first twenty minutes of the place. Seriously, not good.
Working on random heroics and Honor Hold rep. Spending several hours a day (when I should be at work) doing fucking dailies. But, my mount is paid off so yay me! Went to Ramparts and BF yesterday on Kori. Nothing too exciting until we get to our second BF loot run. Burniate was on his baby shaman and had a guildie come tank. Level 70 tankadin with okay gear... well, we are doing the whole instance with no CC until we get to the demon part. There are a bunch of imps and a warlock, pally goes in and is tanking, but a couple of the imps go after the healer. I banish one. He messages me something to the extent of "WTF, I can tank multiple mobs, stop banishing because I'm not waiting for it." Fine... whatever. Keep them off the healer and I won't banish. We get to groups of two felguards and a warlock. Anyways, I don't banish. Then in party chat he was like you know, you CAN banish. Jackass. So we get to the next group of two felguards and a warlock. By the way, these are like level 61 felguards and he is a 70 paladin. My fucking healadin could tank two damned felguards. Anyways, he said to enslave one, banish one. Except enslave demon kept breaking after about 30 seconds, kills the healer while I'm reenslaving at the same time the banish comes out which kills me. Yeah. Anyways, class time.

Played Kori for the first time in a very, very long while today. Got her a level, ran a couple instances, etc. Both guilds did Kara tonight, but I'm not attuned yet on Senika and there were 4 mages online in Dark Mercy. I'm very slowly paying Nesari back. Only 400 more gold to go.
I had a random thought today. You know what my most thoughtful/meaningful birthday present was last year? An Ony cloak with +15 FR on it from Burniate. It's strange how you can be really good friends for such a long time with someone you have never met. Anyways, it's midnight and I'm getting old and my eyes are blurring so bad I can't see, so I guess off to bed to do it all over tomorrow.

Logged on to check my auctions this morning, and Galilae was invited to join Dark Mercy. They have about 30 or so level 70s and are raiding Kara and doing hard-core heavy heroics. Basically, I joined because there are a few people from my Second Dawn days in the guild who remembered Nesari and myself, so it's someone to talk to.
In response to Aless... Yeah, basically I did the same thing. I have a huge list of all the healadin gear I want, I just haven't had a chance to go get it yet. Most of my gear is from pre-70 questing and off that, all the good stuff is tankadin gear. I've only done two or three instances as a healer.
Anyways, cume tonight and lots of homework and grading due tomorrow.
To Burniate, I was going to call you, but I don't think I ever actually transferred your number into the phone so...

Got Senika to 70. Hordeside, joined a guild that's running Kara so I need to get her keyed. It's somewhat fucked up that Galilae is in the best gear (for the most part) pre-Kara, but she can't get a Kara group to save her life. Now, I pug on Senika and get a ginvite.
Galilae has a couple applications in alliance side, but nobody seems to want her much. So, I guess if after a week or two I can't find someone to do at least 5 mans with, I'll make Seni my main. Oh, I also spent the money to get Gal's epic flyer, so if I don't play her anymore, I'm gonna be pissed.

Burniate pwned Kael'thas in the face last night. Neatness.
I've been working from 7 in the morning until 8 or 9 at night for the past week or two, so I haven't had much time to play lately. The pally is 68 now, and Galilae is about 1000g from her epic flying. She only gets played two hours a week or so, so that 1K could take a while.

Played WoW for the first time in weeks yesterday. I have been waiting on my mount until Grok has enough money for his epic, but he's almost there so I spent about 5 hours sitting in the city looking for help. All I have to do is two bosses in UD Strat and then summon a pally dude and kill him and his friends. Everything I read said it's really easy, but even with me at 64 and Grok at 63 we would need at least one other person. We aren't exactly all-out dps.
I HATE having my pally horde-side (or my mage ally-side). It is like leveling my first character with no help and not knowing anybody. And with Azeroth instances a thing of the past, well...
I suppose I can wait until Grok and I are 70 and two-man it.

Kaelin's first day of first grade today. Her best friend, Drew, is in her class this year and was looking all spiffy this morning. His mom spiked his hair and he looked like he was outgrowing some of his chubbiness. Tons of kids and parents crying, but Kaelin is an old pro and wouldn't even kiss me.
The school called at 2:30, though. Apparently she had pooped all down the side of her pants. It was even on her shoes too. What a way to start the year.

Didn't play a lot this weekend. We went to see Harry Potter on Sunday. Great movie, but I was a little disappointed that the trailers didn't show how blood/gore it would be compared to the other movies. Kaelin was okay for the most part, but about half the kids were crying and had left by the end. Anyways, after having the ending of the 5th and 6th books ruined for me, I went out and bought them. Planning on starting book 3 this week after I finish Dracula.
I got so pissed off this morning. Anyone who knows me knows what kind of Simpson's freak I am. Obviously, I can't take Kaelin to the midnight showing, but I promised that we would see it on our usual movie day, Sunday. But Jason got upset when I asked if he could watch Kaelin Thursday night so I could go see the first showing. First, it's at fucking midnight, and we are never awake after 11 on a weeknight. I could just get up and leave and he would never notice. Secondly, I should be allowed to have my own life and events that don't involve him. I can't play WoW unless he plays with me. I can't go out to lunch with anyone unless he goes. If I want to read alone in the bedroom, he gets irritated. I can put in a chick flick or turn on some reality tv show that he hates, but he has to watch tv with me. I mean, it's not like he prohibits it. He just gets this sad, puppy face when I try to do anything on my own. Yet, he complains that he never has time to write or do anything he wants to do.
I'm still not over the whole thing from a few weeks ago. I told him I'm going to need some time, and he says he's ok with that, but then he gets all bitchy with me. Oh well.

Great BRD run last night. Now, I just need to go back and save the princess.
Made 60 last night. Did the first few parts of the quest, but now, I'm lacking about 75g or so. A day of questing and possibly LBRS awaits so hopefully, I can make what I need.

Got Jenipher to 59 last night. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I had no less than 6 people message me, "Why aren't you in Outland?" Because it really matters to them. First, Grokthol is too low to go through the portal and we spent a good part of the weekend trying to get him a port or summons which never happened. So, when he hits 58, we may go to Outland. Secondly, I fucking hate Hellfire. I have leveled two characters there and it's not very fun. When I leveled Galilae, it was so crowded you couldn't do quests because there weren't enough mobs to kill. It was still pretty packed when I took Galae through. Whereas, there is nobody in the Plaguelands or Winterspring. Lastly, I want to finish the quests in Azeroth. They give experience and money. Galilae hasn't even started questing in Shadowmoon yet and almost has enough for her epic flying from questing alone. Whereas most of my guild claim that they have done all the quests in Outland and have 400g. Of course, these are the people who haven't quested in most of the upper level zones in Azeroth. I plan on hitting 70 before I ever make it to Netherstorm.
Anyways, I hope to get her to 60 either tonight or tomorrow. Planning on ST tonight with Grok. If we can find a group, we will do a full run, otherwise just the bottom statue thing. And I still have a butt-ton of quests for BRD. So, tomorrow night we will head there. Then we still have all the quests for LBRS (which doesn't exist to Galilae) and UBRS. Plus Scholo and Strat. Add DM into that and Jen can easily hit 62 before she ever goes to Hellfire. Galilae never did any Outland instances (aside from Ramparts) until she hit 70. I now know the best ways to do the instances and quests for the maximum amount of rep, so I should be able to get all my keys when I hit 70.

I know that I keep posting today, but I am really, really, really bored with nothing to do at work. Eventually, you read all the literature that pertains in any way to your research and just have to wait for the optics company to get off their ass and fix your fiber.
It became apparent today that RL friends are reading this journal so I went back through and did some selective editing after the fact. I know that posting anything on the internet makes it fair game, but it was a comfort to know that I could write anything and it would only be read by strangers (and by strangers, I mean game friends...). I actually have four blogs. One for WoW, one for my running, one for my ED, and one that is just random every day personal crap. WoW is the only one I upgrade more than once a week though, so it tends to get pieces of my personal life injected into it. I suppose that I could make my journal private, or friends only, but I like talking to the random trolls who come across my page.
So, I don't know.
Kaelin's party is less than three weeks away and we haven't invited anyone yet. I can't find her class directory, so I don't have numbers, addresses, or last names of any of her friends. She still has like another month before she goes back to school too. She's pretty upset since Margaret and Mary Jo will be going to public school in the fall. At least she still has Drew. Drew cracks me up. They are such dorks together. Drew is what I imagine Jason was like as a kid. At their school fair, he ran up to me and said, "Dragons are real!" and ran off. Then the next week we ran into him at the Play McDonald's and they holed up in the corner with Drew being a dragon and Kaelin being a sorceress sent to slay him. I imagine him coming over to play, then Jason, Kaelin, and Drew playing D&D at the kitchen table.
I meet with Father Mick next week to talk about the annulment. The paperwork is all filled out and I'm just waiting on Brandon to get back from deployment. After he gets back and signs the papers, it should only take a month or two for everything to be final. ABOUT TIME!!! The annulment; however, could take up to 18 months or it could not be approved at all. We set our date with hopes that the annulment would be complete by then. Hopefully, Fr. Mick will tell us that it should only take a few months to get everything settled and we can move up the wedding date. I am ready to get married and ready to have more kids. The Church frowns on doing the latter before you are married. Or, since I am technically married, doing to the latter with someone to whom you aren't married.

Felguards can cleave. This means attacking his target and another mob nearby. A felguard can aggro a yellow mob by cleaving it. And if that yellow mob is aggroed, other mobs linked to it will aggro. For instance, the scarabs in ZF or the Grim Patrons in BRD.
Learn to play your class or shut up.

So, I found a rock radio station in Berlin and by rock, I mean 80's hair bands... but the funniest thing:
About every thirty minutes or so they have a news segment or something. My German is sucky at best, but LMAO... they are talking about Davif Hasselhoff. OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! That makes three times in four hours of listening to this. HILARIOUS!!!
Anyways, I'm wondering about Burn. I haven't seen him log on in a very long time, not that I play Gal all that much, but still. He hasn't updated his blog in months and hasn't called me in weeks. If I had the slightest idea where my phone was, I would check up on him. I really, really need to make the time to go to Seattle to see him.
Dog has private training tonight until about 9 and I have the urge to watch Advent Children after that. I have my stupid therapy group at 6, and I have a polarization modulator to pick up and test sometime after 4. So, no WoW again tonight. =(
Looking at my profile picture makes me laugh now. I was wearing a mix of ZG, MC, and BWL loot. I think I was sitting at +500 spell damage or something like that. Prior to Naxx, you couldn't beat that.
Radical idea, but I think you should have to stay at level 60 for at least a month before you can continue leveling. Long story.

Didn't play yesterday, but while at work, trolled the thorpact forums...
LOL
So, Stag is the new raid leader which is OK. But, they have had at most 23 people vote in any polls about what to do next. Seriously, at this point, I would call it. But rather....
He wants to go to Naxx. LMAO!!!! Seriously, this is the group that at level 70 with 30 people couldn't get past the first boss in BWL. So, Naxx? Yeah right. Even with 40 level 70's it's not going to happen. At least not without months and months of work. Not like they have 40 people, but still...
Anyways, seeing as how my one friend horde side isn't talking to me anymore, I think I'm going to transfer Jenipher to CC this weekend.
Also, since I have had emails about it... I'm fine. Things with Jason are strained but I'm working on it.
One more side note: German radio sucks! When I went to Germany a couple summers ago, all I heard was Hoobastank and Backstreet Boys. Listening to a couple of Munich stations online today and it seems that they are about two years behind American music. I didn't want to listen to fucking Jack Johnson two years ago, and I don't want to listen to him now. >.<
